March 20, 2007 - Tri-State Aero's Charter Department Receives ARG/U.S. Gold Rating The charter department of Evansville-based Tri-State Aero, Inc. has earned a Gold rating from Aviation Research Group/U.S. Inc. (ARG/U.S.), an independent aviation research and consulting firm that is nationally recognized as a leader in the collection, analysis, and reporting of industry data. The rating will allow Tri-State Aero to widen the scope of their charter operations and to offer services to a broader spectrum of clientele, including Fortune 500 flight departments, Fractional operators, and larger charter organizations, many of which require extensive auditing before selecting a charter service provider. ARG/U.S. Gold ratings are granted to Part 135 operators that demonstrate a history of and continued commitment to meeting or exceeding established standards for crew, equipment, and safety ratings. Tri-State Aero is also the only ARG/U.S. Gold operator in the Evansville area. Prior to receiving the Gold rating, Tri-State Aero participated in a comprehensive due diligence process, providing historical documentation such as pilot background information, equipment records, and incident reports, all of which was then verified by ARG/U.S. through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and independent background checks. Tri-State Aero will be required to submit regular updates to ARG/U.S. every 90 days in order to keep the rating current. Information on Tri-State Aero's rating and safety history will be made available to industry suscribers of ARG/U.S., by way of the Charter Evaluation and Qualification (CHEQ) report, which is available on the ARG/U.S. website. |
